Its nice to hear this recording again after such a long wait - when issued originally only the rather wealthy could afford it (I have an original single sided copy in its original cover showing photos of Caruso and Melba and the price £1 printed on it - equivalent to £100 today) I feel that it may no longer be played but I daren't try it !
